  Stahlman's has a wide variety of wood for all kinds of projects. When I asked about 3/4" plywood for building a small table, they showed me the different grades of plywood and types (oak, birch, etc) they had available. There was even a small area for hardware and tools to purchase. When I finished selecting the plywood, the guys there did two cuts for a reasonable price to get it into the car, even asking me if the ~1/8" margin of error was okay before cutting. Shoot, you even get to drive your truck through the warehouse to load it up!
